Gemma Wilson-Clark

Gemma Wilson-Clark is currently the Chief of Education for UNICEF Jordan, enabling vulnerable children, including Syrian refugees, to access quality learning opportunities. Working across the global portfolio, Gemma was a Senior Education Advisor for UNICEF in New York, advising the Generation Unlimited Secretariat on Education and Skills. Gemma was with the UK Department for International Development and spent fifteen years supporting education sector planning in Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. She was Head of Education, Health and HIV/AIDS for Save the Children in Ethiopia, and began her career with the Government of Swaziland as an Overseas Development Institute Fellow. Gemma has an MPhil in international development from the Institute of Development Studies at Sussex University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Cambridge.
